Swift Go Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Swift Go processes to provide rider accounts, transportation, payments, notifications, and support.
Last updated: August 16, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies when you use the Swift Go rider mobile application and related customer support services. The information processed depends on the features and payment methods you choose to use.
2. Information Swift Go processes
Account and identity
- Full name, email address, and phone number
- An optional profile photo or avatar
- Account, profile, and authentication identifiers
- Apple, Google, or email authentication information used to sign you in
Foreground location
With your permission, the rider app uses location while you are using the app to show maps and help find nearby routes or pickup stops. The rider app does not ask for Always or background-location permission. Driver live-location operations are separate from the rider app's foreground location use.
Transportation activity
- Route searches and interactions
- Pickup and drop-off selections
- Bookings, tickets, trips, and cancellations
- Route requests and trip-tracking eligibility or activity
Payments and financial records
- Selected payment method and payment status
- Provider transaction and payment-attempt identifiers
- Wallet ledger and transaction history
- Refund and cancellation records
- Route Package purchase, use, and refund history
- Cash, Paymob Card, and InstaPay submission or review information where used
When Card is selected, card-payment information entered in Paymob's payment flow is processed by Paymob. Swift Go processes the resulting transaction and payment status needed to complete and support the purchase.
Device and service data
Swift Go processes push-notification tokens, authentication and session identifiers, and limited operational or security diagnostics needed to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the service. Swift Go does not request App Tracking Transparency permission for advertising tracking.
3. How information is used
- Create, secure, and support your account and profile
- Find and display relevant routes, stops, and trips
- Create and manage bookings, tickets, cancellations, and route requests
- Process payments, Wallet entries, Route Packages, and refunds
- Provide trip status, tracking eligibility, and service notifications
- Prevent misuse, investigate service problems, and maintain operational records
- Respond to customer-support and account-deletion requests
4. Service providers and necessary disclosure
Swift Go uses service providers to operate the application. Information is shared with them only as needed for the relevant service. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies:
- Supabase — account authentication, application data, storage, and server services
- Expo and related push infrastructure — application delivery, updates, and notifications
- Apple — Sign in with Apple and iOS platform services
- Google — Google Identity and Maps, Places, and Directions services
- Paymob — card-payment processing where Card is selected
Trip information may also be made available to an assigned captain or authorized transport operator when needed to operate your trip. Information may be disclosed when necessary to protect the service, resolve a dispute, or respond to a valid official request.
5. Account deletion and retained records
You can initiate account deletion in the Swift Go app from Account → Delete account. Eligible profile information, avatar references and eligible avatar objects, push destinations, preferences, memberships, and transient account state are removed or anonymized when deletion completes.
Some financial and operational records may need to remain in anonymized or pseudonymous form to preserve transaction, payment, refund, Wallet ledger, booking, ticket, Route Package, security, audit, dispute, and operational integrity. These retained records are not restored to a new account merely because the same email address or sign-in provider is used again.
An account with an unresolved payment, refund, Wallet balance, active trip, upcoming booking, or active Route Package may need that obligation resolved before deletion can complete. Learn more on the Delete Account page.
6. Your choices
You can update available profile and preference settings in the app, manage foreground location and notification permission in your device settings, sign out, or request account deletion. For privacy or account-access questions, use the contact information below.
7. Data security and retention
Swift Go uses access controls and transport security designed to protect account and service information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Information is kept only while needed for the active service or for the financial, operational, security, audit, or dispute purposes described in this policy. No single retention period applies to every record type.
8. Policy updates
This policy may be updated as Swift Go features or service providers change. The current version and its update date will remain available on this page.
